Key work
Macrame hangers popped up in stores everywhere recently and that made me think about how this should probably be quite an easy DIY project. So that lead me to buying some rope, putting on some YouTube videos and making knots for hours on end.

Method
There's many different things one can do with macrame rope, but my favourite things remain the plant hangers. I've taking on other projects as well, such as creating a Christmas tree, a decorated, thrifted mirror and some custom hanging shelves. Macrame can be a very relaxing past-time, but I will never forget the projects where I ran out of rope, which is really hard to conceal or fix. So: always cut enough rope!
